The Faculty of Electrical Engineering occupies one of the top positions in Bavaria and ensures cutting-edge teaching and modern laboratory equipment. The optimal interaction of teaching and research is guaranteed in a large number of laboratories and institutes. On these pages we would like to give you an overview of the research activities at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the FHWS:

Universities of applied sciences have a mission to conduct research. Thus, it is also the goal of FHWS to be an accelerator for research in accordance with the guidelines of scientific practice.

Our university operates six application-oriented institutes and more than 90 laboratories. In addition, there is an Ombudsperson to Safeguard Good Scientific Work.

For questions regarding the topics of research, inventions, starting a business, and third-party funding, please contact the Campus for Applied Research (CAF). Click here to go to the CAF pages

It is the declared policy of the FHWS that the operational implementation of knowledge and technology transfer with application-oriented research and development is carried out as decentral as possible without overriding organisational obstacles in direct contact between interested bodies and the professors of the university.
